MILESTONE WITH UNDERGROUND SECTION AND PROCESS OF DRIVING THE SAME INTO THE GROUND

The invention relates to a milestone with underground section and to a process of driving the same into the ground. The milestone comprises a cylindrical tubular body (1) provided with an upper plug (3) and a protective cap (4), and optionally equipped at the lower side with a fixed protective plug (2) and with a clamp (5) which covers some optionally oriented permanent magnets (6), an air-tight receptacle (9) containing the identifying data of the final terrain points being located inside the tube (1).The process of driving the milestone into the ground consists in that, in a first step, depending on the nature of the ground, the cylindrical body, provided or not with the fixed lower plug and equipped with the metal clamp and with the permanent magnets, is driven either by beating down the plug with a mandrel, in case of a normal ground, or by drilling a round hole with the diameter larger than the diameter of the metal clamp, into the rocky ground, up to the pre-established elevation, leaving 10 cm of the length of the tubular body above the ground level, and in the second step, an air-tight receptacle containing the sheets with the identifying data of the terrain points is introduced into the milestone body, in the third step, the above-ground plug is mounted and the protective cap is fastened, followed by filling with ground for protection.
