PROCESS FOR REINFORCING AND CONSOLIDATING MUD-SETTING PONDS IN THE MINING INDUSTRY, HEAPS OF STERIL, POWER PLANT SLAG AND ASHES BY CONVERTING THEM INTO CONSOLIDATED ROCK
The invention relates to a process for reinforcing and consolidating the mud-setting ponds in mining industry, the heaps of sterile, the power plant slag and ashes by converting them into consolidated rock, wherein, in a first embodiment, in a first step, the sloped steril is pierced with drillings having a diameter phi 60 mm, by means of a string of drill pipes and a geological drill, provided with fishtail-shaped drilling bit at the ends, the first drilling pipe being perforated on the whole length to allow the diffusion of alumina cement milk, then in the second step, after reaching the slope base, the drilling shaft is connected to a mud pump, whereby the cement milk is diffused into the steril mass, where a perimetral barrier of B 250-type concrete is carrier out, the distance between the two drillings ranging from 10...15 m in order to permit the interference of the cement milk diffusion areas, the drilling shaft being 5...8 m retracted once or several times by the drill pipe back-off, in order to restart pumping in another position, and in a third step, the cement milk diffusion continues, by using a movable platform with the drill and mud pump mounted thereon, so that there are carried out consolidated zones of hard rock consistency, of about 20...30 MPa resistence, which reach the pond bottom and intersect one another to form a grid on the whole pond surface.
