Active Attenuator acoustic noise by adaptive genetic algorithm. Is a control system developed on a card signal processing (DSP) that generates electrical signals amplified and converted to acoustic pressure waves by a loudspeaker overlap in counter-phase with the pressure waves of noise, producing attenuation this. The controller, based on a genetic adaptive algorithm, only attenuates the noise type which is collected by a sensor (microphone) and optimizes its operation based on the electrical signal which is collected by another microphone located in the acoustic cancellation. The system produces higher acoustic attenuation to 25 dB for periodic low-frequency noise (60-500 HZ), whether they are of fixed or variable frequency.
