Process for preparing sodium fluoride from sodium hydroxide and hydrogen fluoride, characterized in that sodium hydroxide solution is separately conducted at least 45% by weight, especially 50% by weight and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, to saturated NaF solution in which is suspended from 4 to 50% by weight, preferably 5 to 30% by weight of solid NaF and whose temperature is in the range of 20 to 80, preferably 30 to 60C.
