Elastic duct for transporting bulk solids and mechanisms for its activation. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the formation of dust, obtain a larger elongation coefficient, and extend the activation options. It is a duct formed from a long strip with folded longitudinal edges (1, 2) coupled to sealing joints (3, 4). The strip is rolled on to itself in the form of a spiral. The duct behaves like a spring in that it can be stretched and shrunk, one spiral folding over another. It is applicable especially to handling solid bulk loads in lorries, carriages, boats, etc. Three activation mechanisms are described: with a motor-reducer, with pistons, or with a capstan.IMAGE
