Effluent treatment procedure for small communities, that is, approximately 500 to 2000 eH (inhabitant equivalent), using filters planted with reeds, characterized in that it consists of: - performing a biological treatment of the effluent with the help of a bacterial bed and, - carry out a removal of the suspended materials in the source thus treated and, simultaneously, a sludge treatment by filtration-fertilizer on filters planted with reeds.
