A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF FINE PAPER DESCRIBED UNDER ALKALINE CONDITIONS WITH A CLASSIFYING AGENT BY SIZE 2OXETANONE IS DESCRIBED. THE CONTRIBUTION AGENT IS A MIXTURE OF A DIMERO KETONE AND MULTIMERAL RENT 2-OXETANONE OF VARIOUS MOLECULAR WEIGHTS, HAVING AT LEAST 50% OF THE WEIGHT OF THE 2-OXETANONE COMPONENTS AT LEAST TWO RINGS OF 2-OXETANONE. THE PAPER MAY BE IN THE FORM OF CONTINUOUS UNITED PAPER, CALCULATING MACHINE PAPER AND REPROGRAPHIC PAPER AND MAY ALSO BECOME ENVELOPES. PAPER EXHIBITS LEVELS OF CONTRIBUTION COMPARABLE TO THE OBTAINED OF THE CURRENT CONTRIBUTIONS OF SUCCINICAL ANCHORIDE, ALQUENIL AND DIMERO AQUIL KETONE, AND OFFERS IMPROVED BEHAVIOR IN HIGH SPEED CONVERSION AND REPROGRAPHY MACHINES.
