The structure comprises a concrete monolithiccaisson (3) consisting of a top slab (5) and a bottom slab(5') resting on a seabed, of two concentric peripheralwalls (6, 7), an inner and an outer respectively, designedto withstand the impacts of icebergs, these two walls (6,7) extending substantially vertically between the slabs(5, 5') and rigidly connected with them. Verticalpartitions are arranged between the two walls so as toconnect them in a lattice structure. Vertical defensiveelements (8, 9) are disposed over at least a part of theperiphery of the caisson. According to the invention, thedefensive elements (8, 9) are integral with the outer wallof the caisson (3).Application to a platform structure located inArctic regions for production in a hydrocarbon field.
