A system and method for providing timely and tailored prompts, reminders andgarden care information specific to an individual user's garden. A database ofgeographically specific information on the care and maintenance of householdplants,shrubs, trees and flowers is queried periodically or on request using datastored in adynamic database containing profile information about the user's garden, itsplantingsand its location and a report generated in the form of a newsletter or othercommunicationis provided to the user.
