A network-based multi-user real-time talk show, or talk radio, system and method is disclosed. The system and method provides for submitting questions to the show and to the guest(s) or host, sorting and managing these questions in an efficient manner, selecting questions for discussion, establishing a voice channel between the host and the caller and then broadcast the resulting data efficiently as a talk radio show over a network such as the Internet.
