Information system for tiered distribution network

A computer interface for viewing tiered marketing relationships between distributors in a multi-level marketing organization. The interface comprises a database that includes information for a plurality of distributors organized into a tiered genealogical relationship. The tiered relationship view begins with the originating distributor. A client interface is configured to retrieve information from the database on a network. A hierarchical list, within the client interface, is configured to display a genealogical relationship between the distributors and the originating distributor. A filter may also be applied to the hierarchical list to show only distributors that satisfy the filter criteria. The hierarchical list is interactive and the nodes, which represent distributors, can be dynamically expanded and contracted to display the selected distributor's down-line. Several flat files such as the distributor flat file (30), the volume flat file (32) and the executive structure flat file (34) are incorporated into the system as well.
