Constitution: A method of measuring NRAMP1 promoter alleic polymorphism (in particular, polymorphism 1) by using an NRAMP1 promoter alleic primer; a method of measuring the expression of NRAMP1 gene by using an NRAMP1 gene primer; a method of measuring the etiology of a disease caused by a cytozoic pathogen by using an antibody against NRAMP1; and a method of measuring the etiology of Kawasaki disease. Effects: It is expected that the measurement of NRAMP1 promoter alleic polymorphism, the expression of NRAMP1 gene, the etiology of a disease caused by a cytozoic pathogen concerning NRAMP1 and the etiology of Kawasaki disease is not only useful in diagnostics enabling the forecasting of the onset of these diseases but also advantageous in the diagnosis and treatment (for example, early diagnosis and early treatment) thereof.
