The invention relates generally to a method of using paclitaxel in a specific Q4Dx3 schedule and dosage for patients with malignant melanoma. The low risk-benefit ratio of this specific schedule provides a method for therapeutic use for all stages of severity of disease ranging from local resectable tumor to diagnosed widespread malignant melanoma.
