The present invention relates to a hydraulic support for low-level roof caving for solving the problems of unreasonable linkage arrangement of this support and high equipment failure rate. According to the characteristics and requirements of low-level roof caving support its front link is placed behind rear column of support, and formed into double link, the height of the hinged point of rear link of single link and base to bottom surface of support is 750-950mm, so that it can not only ensure the coal-passing space after support, but also improves the stress condition of four bar linkage mechanism. As compared with existent similar support its strength, stability and reliability are obviously raised.
