The invention relates to a device for the production of viscose staple fibers comprising two to eight, preferably four to six, spinning devices (10-40) disposed side by side, each of which has a spinning nozzle (13-43) for spinning viscose into viscose filaments; a feed pipe for feeding viscose into the spinning nozzle; a container for receiving precipitation bath liquid (12-42); a drawing device and a bundling organ (91) for bundling the viscose filaments spun by the different spinning devices; a stretching device (50) for stretching the bundled viscose filaments; a cutting device (60) for cutting the drawn viscose filaments into staple fibers. The spinning devices, the stretching device and the cutting device are preferably disposed in a single housing (1).
