The present invention relates to a method and means to handle fragile sheet like material, preferably plasterboards. The invention is characterised in that in connection to manufacturing of the sheets they are put onto two turned down supports in the shape of U-profiles of metal in such a way that they will be placed 9 to 15 cm above the ground/bedding, whereby between 25 and 40% of the surface of the lowest sheet will be supported by the rib portions of said U-profiles.
