AUTOMATED SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR CONDUCTING JURY VOIR DIRE

An automated system and method for conducting jury voir dire makes use of a court's existing master listing or master database (7) of names of citizens eligible to serve as jurors from a set of all citizens within a court's jurisdiction. From the master database, the court will form a jury wheel (10) by using a random selection procedure to select a smaller representative of a fair demographic cross section of the set of all citizens residing within the court's jurisdiction.
