The invention concerns a method for constructing a building comprising pillars (50-52), and door frames (53), characterised in that it consists in: first assembling the pillars (50-52) and the door frames (53) using structural blocks comprising: a through recess designed to constitute the formwork for receiving the cast reinforced concrete; a projecting part forming tenon, designed to be nested in a hollow part of an adjacent structural block forming a mortise; at least a hollow zone adapted to enable the structural elements wherewith it is urged into contact to be cottered; then mounting the structural elements (55) to form the building walls between the various pillars (50-52) and frames (53) previously assembled, the position of said pillars (50-52) and frames (53) enabling said structural elements (55) to be assembled for mounting.
