the invention relates to an improved process for the repair of gas turbine engine components in superalliage cobalt, consisting in applying a mixture of a base alloy powder and alloy powder core with a melting point lowering agent of su the surface of the component.and then to heat up between 2250 and 2300 degrees fahrenheit in order to disseminate the agent for lowering the melting point of the alloy isothermiquement basis. then there is a step of applying a protective coating for a heating cycle is used to get the base material.the as obtained has high temperature creep properties substantially superior to those obtained by the method of the prior art.the temperature cycle is also useful in the initial heat treatment of superalliage cobalt, and can also be used in the regeneration of components subjected to prolonged exposure to the conditions of service of the engine.
