METHOD FOR SPECIFIC IMMUNOASSAY OF HUMAN PLASMATIC GLUTATHIONE PEROXIDASE

Novel method for the assay of plasmatic glutathione peroxidase (pl.GPx) based on a specific immunoassay using antibodies directed against an oligopeptide selected from the pl.GPx sequence. The invention also concerns said oligopeptide and specific antibodies. Also disclosed is a kit for carrying out said method. Application in medical diagnosis and monitoring of the evolution of pathologies induced by a variation in pl.GPx concentration.
