METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DIGITALLY PRINTED TEXTILE STRIPS, IN PARTICULAR LABELS

A method and device for the production of digitally printed textile strips, in particular, label strips made from a single-, or at least partially multi-coloured woven or knitted fabric strip are disclosed. The textile strip undergoes at least single-sided printing with a single- or multi-coloured pattern, whereby said strip is conditioned, fed to a printer with online control and the pattern printed on said strip is fixed. The invention is characterised by the advantage that the transfer and fixing of the colour substrate is improved and that textile strips can be produced with a reduced number of patterns and thus a smaller number of labels can be economically produced online.
