A method of completely exhausting and ventilating locally without impairing a comfortability and a workability, comprising the steps of producing an upward sucking air flow (16) flowing from the upper position of a cooking appliance (1) to the outside of a kitchen room, producing an upward blowing air flow (21) from near the side of the cooking appliance (1), and collecting and distributing contaminated air (30) near around the cooking appliance (1) forcibly to the blowing air flow (21) by the inductive action of the blowing air flow (21), whereby the air near around the cooking appliance (1) can be exhausted locally in the kitchen room where the cooking appliance (1) causing the contaminated air is present.
