The aim of the invention is to provide a method which makes it possible to operate a call-centre with globally operating operators. According to the invention, data are determined and memorized during a customer call, which data are suitable for identifying the customer and assigning him to a customer group. Via a search routine these data are compared with the stored data of the registered operators of the call-centre. The customer is then automatically connected by the call-centre server with the Web browser of the work-station system of the operator selected for him. Simultaneously all stored data of the customer are displayed on the Web browser window of the screen of the operator. The method provided for by the invention is intended especially for globally operating call-centres since it promotes better communication between customers and operators.
