Service platform for maintenance activities for passenger trains

A service point for controlling the emptying of waste tanks on a train and for refilling the water tanks has a control module (2) carried on a support platform (12) between two rail tracks. Support rails (20) are laid onto the sleepers on the inside edges of the rail tracks. A raft of girders (13) are laid between the rail tracks, supported on the support rails. A second raft of girders (8) is laid crosswise on top of the first raft and supports the platform and the control module. Pipes for the waste disposal, fresh water and for the vacuum supply are fitted to the underside of the bottom raft, and held clear of the ground.
