Process and installation for reducing nitrous oxide emissions in a circulating fluidized bed combustion system

A zeolite catalyst is injected in powdered form into the hearth of a combustion installation, functioning as a circulating fluidized bed. The reduction of nitrous oxide emissions from a combustion installation functioning in fluidized bed mode comprises injecting a zeolite catalyst into the hearth in a powdered form. An Independent claim is also included for the installation for the reduction of emissions.
