Use of an association of particles of a solid crosslinked elastomeric organopolysiloxane having at least one oxyalkylene group and crosslinked and neutralized poly(2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid) as a stabilizer of a water in oil emulsion and an oil in water cosmetic composition having in the oil phase the organopolysiloxane and in the aqueous phase the polysulfonic acid.
