PURPOSE: A measurement inserts a probe directly into the nasal cavity to measure ciliary movement in the human body and irradiates laser beam to the test part to detect reflecting or scattering beam to convert into electrical signal to amplify and filter and convert into digital signal, which is analyzed to obtain the ciliary movement frequency. CONSTITUTION: The measurement system comprises; a laser generator(100), a light detector(200) for detecting laser beam scattering and reflecting by ciliary movement; a data processor(300) for controlling the laser generator(100) and processing data transmitted from the light detector(200) to output; a control for applying a power source to a laser diode with the control signal from the processor(300), the diode receiving power from the control to generate laser beam of short wavelength; a probe(210) for detecting beam scattered or reflected by ciliation to output the beam to a photo-diode when the light detector(200) applies short-wave length laser from the laser diode to the part for measuring ciliary movement; photo-diodes(220, 221) for converting the light signal from the probe(210) to electrical signal; amplifiers(230, 231) for amplifying the output of the photo-diode(200); a differential amplifier(240) for amplifying the signal of difference between the respectively amplified outputs of photo-diodes(220, 221); a low pass filter(250) for removing noise from the output of the differential amplifier(240); a high pass filter(260) preventing saturation on the slow movement of the differential amplifier; an A/D converter(270) for converting the analog signal from the high pass filter(260) into digital signal.
