METHOD FOR SUPPLYING INTERNET SERVICES IN RADIO NETWORK CONTROLLER OF BROADBAND WIRELESS MOBILE STATION

PURPOSE: A method for supplying internet services in a radio network controller(RNC) of a broadband wireless mobile station is provided to assign two channels between a base station and the RNC when the internet services are requested by the broadband wireless mobile station, and to use the two assigned channels to interface information related to the internet services so as to supply the internet services at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: If an optional mobile station(MS) requests an internet service, a radio network controller(RNC) sets up a call through a call processing assigning two channels between the RNC and a corresponding base station(BS). If the MS requests web site information in an internet connected mode, the BS distributes HDLC-formatted web site messages for requesting the information to the two assigned channels to transmit the messages to the RNC. A wireless Internet service block maps the messages with one channel, and converts the mapped HDLC-formatted web site messages into Ethernet format, then transmits the converted messages to an internet network through a router. If web site information data corresponding to the messages is received to the RNC from the internet network, an interface block converts the data into HDLC-formatted web site information data, and distributes the converted information data to the two assigned channels, then transmits the distributed data to the BS.
