PURPOSE: A device for analyzing a synchronous acquisition ability in a personal communication system is provided to analyze abilities of a synchronous system and a CDMA modem by deciding whether a normal modulation/demodulation is performed or not, and by measuring a synchronous loss time and a synchronous acquisition time by means of the waveform structures of a forward link and a backward link. CONSTITUTION: A processor(100) analyzes a synchronous acquisition ability and a synchronous loss ability by offering a parameter in order to operate integrated circuits for transmission and reception. The integrated circuit for transmission(140) receives the parameter, and performs a channel coding and a PN spreading. A noise generator(150) generates various noise source, and transmits the various noise source to a signal adder(160). The signal adder(160) generates a synchronous loss by contaminating an output of the integrated circuit for transmission(140) with the noise source, and transmits data to the integrated circuit for reception(120). The integrated circuit for reception(120) performs an initial synchronous acquisition and a synchronous demodulation function of the transmitted data by receiving the parameter.
