PURPOSE: A speaker unit and a speaker system for generating negative ions are provided to generate simultaneously negative ions and sound waves. CONSTITUTION: A speaker unit and a speaker system for generating negative ions comprise the following structure. The speaker unit(10) comprises a negative ion generator for outputting a sound wave vibrated from a speaker cone and negative ions to the outside by receiving a part of audio signal from an audio input line(1) for inputting an audio signal to a speaker unit and generating negative ions. The speaker system comprises the speaker unit and the negative ion generator. The negative ion generator comprises a negative ion generating circuit(9). The negative ion generating circuit is installed at a rear portion of the speaker unit.
