METHOD FOR INSTALLING SUPPORT FRAME OF BUILT-UP STONE CURTAIN WALL

PURPOSE: A method for installing the support frame of a built-up curtain wall is provided to remove a welding process by thermally zincking all components and by combining a vertical and a horizontal material with a zincked bolt. CONSTITUTION: A vertical material(11) is cut in a certain length and drilled for a bolt. A horizontal material(12) is thermally zincked. An L shaped reinforcing steel plate(15) is welded into the end of the horizontal material and the horizontal material is zincked, too. The vertical and the horizontal material are combined by a bolt and a nut to be a support frame. A spring washer helps the combination stronger and a stone plate is mounted on the outer face of the support frame. Therefore, each component is prevented from being corroded and the support frame is prevented from being twisted by zinc galvanization.
