METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING SHARED LIBRARY OVER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM UNDER UNIX ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A shared library support method and system is provided to enable some execution blocks, executed over a UNIX distribution system, to share procedures defined in other execution blocks. CONSTITUTION: A shared library support method comprises the steps of transmitting parameters and procedure names. to be called in user execution blocks(210,220), to shared library blocks(310,320), the shared library blocks(310,320) calling the procedures and driving the called procedures, the shared library blocks(310,320) transmitting the procedure driving result to the user execution blocks(210,220) as response signals, and the user execution blocks(210,220) receiving the procedure driving result and transmitting the result to a corresponding process. The parameter and procedure name transmission step includes calling the shared procedure of the shared library blocks(310,320), generating the procedure name and parameters according to the user execution code, converting the procedure name and parameters into signal message, transmitting the signal message to the shared library blocks(310,320), and the shared library blocks(310,320) extracting the parameters and procedure names from the signal message.
