PURPOSE: An apparatus for effectively separating metal working chips, metal soap, other oils and sludge from metal processing oils and sterilizing various microorganism as a cause of putrefaction of oils is provided, which makes it possible to reutilize metal processing oils at low cost in a simple manner. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an oil treatment tank divided by an inner partition placed from the bottom to the specified height, in which a large volume tank of two parts containing antibacterial components or filled with a filler coated with the antibacterial components is equipped with an inlet (14) for aqueous metal processing oils at its upper side and a small volume tank contains an oil separator (5) and is equipped with an inlet (12) for aqueous metal processing oils and an outlet (13) respectively at its upper part, wherein a diffuser pipe (7) connected to an ozone generator (8) is installed at the lower part of the oil separator to supply ozone.
