EMAIL ADDRESS URL AN APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MAPPING EMAIL ADDRESS TO URL

PURPOSE: A URL access system and method using an e-mail address is provided to make a user access an internet server more easily on the internet so that he can use desired contents and to make a contents provider's URL publicized more conveniently so that information accessibility can be increased. CONSTITUTION: If a user inputs an e-mail address through a client terminal(S100), a relevant internet server transmits a resource to recognize the sentence structure of the inputted e-mail address to the client terminal(S110). The transmitted resource recognizes the sentence structure of the e-mail address and transmits it to the internet server(S120). The resource judges whether the inputted internet address is a sentence structure system for e-mail addresses(S130). If the address is the sentence structure system for e-mail addresses, a mapping module analyzes the inputted e-mail address and requests a database to search URL information matched with the e-mail address(S140). The database checks whether URL information matched with the e-mail address exists(S150). The mapping module maps the URL of a searched contents server(S160). As a result of mapping, the client computer accesses the URL contents server(S170). The contents server transmits the resource to the client computer(S180).
