PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for purifying underground water being erupted at construction field, which filters out sand contained in underground water thoroughly so that the apparatus can supply clean water for construction work from underground water which would otherwise be discarded. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus consists of a settling tank (10) into which a pipe for pumping underground water (11) is installed and an extended pipe (12) having several holes (12a) for draining water is inserted into the settling tank; a reservoir (10) for storing purified underground water. The settling tank and the reservoir are connected through a connection pipe (21), and one end of the connection pipe has a mesh-type filter (21a).
