THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION IMPROVED IN MISCIBILITY BY ADDITION OF IONOMER

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic rubber composition having improved miscibility by adding an ethylene-based ionomer or sulfonated EPDM ionomer during dynamic crosslinking of a thermoplastic elastic composition containing EPDM rubber and polypropylene rubber as a main component is provided, which improves compatibility of final products and increases modulus, permanent compression characteristics and fusion characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises 25 to 75 parts by weight of EPDM rubber, 75 to 25 parts by weight of a thermoplastic olefin, 0 to 15 phr of an ionomer based on 100 parts by weight of the total rubber, less than 10 phr of a phenol crosslinking agent, less than 2 phr of a crosslinking additive, 0 to 150 phr of a filler and additionally contains 0 to 150 phr of a filling oil in such a manner that the oil content of the total composition is not over 200 phr based on the EPDM rubber.
