PURPOSE: Upright wave dissipation block fixing structure of a caisson breakwater is provided to prevent upright wave dissipation block from tilting or falling severely toward the open-sea by binding up, down, left, right with a binding member. CONSTITUTION: In upright wave dissipation block(6) fixing structure of a caisson breakwater(1), a hollow type caisson(4) in which an upper slab(3) is placed is fixed on the upside of a foundation(2). A lower slab(5) having regular thickness is formed in the front side of the caisson. And numerous upright wave dissipation blocks consisting of a reinforced concrete cylinder are installed on the upside of the lower slab at the similar height to the caisson. Three branch members(7,7a,7b) are radially projected from the circumference of the upright wave dissipation block to complete one upright wave dissipation block. A branch member(7c) of the other wave dissipation block(6a) is projected to be engaged with the branch members of each wave dissipation block. Numerous anchor rings(11, 11a) are projected form the front side of the caisson and the upside of the lower slab, and a metal chain(9) is inserted in the inside of the anchor rings. The surface of binding members(10,10a) is coated by a tube skin(8). The binding members are strongly fastened to anchor rings(11b,11c).
