PURPOSE: A method for estimating a discharged amount of pollutants is provided to precisely estimate the discharged amount of pollutants by each kind of vehicles with sensors in a tunnel. CONSTITUTION: A system for calculating a ventilation amount based on an estimating algorithm of pollutant discharged amount comprises a parameter setting unit(10), a data collecting and operating unit(20), an estimating unit of pollutant discharged amount by each kind of vehicles(30), an estimating unit of pollution level in a tunnel(40), and a calculating unit of ventilation amount(50). A parameter is set and initialized. Data such as a passed number of vehicles in the tunnel, a mean CO value, a mean Vi value and a mean speed are collected and operated. A discharged amount of pollutants by each kind of vehicles is estimated with the algorithm. A pollution level in the tunnel is estimated with the algorithm based on the estimated discharged amount of pollutants. The ventilation amount is calculated based on the estimated pollution level.
