PURPOSE: An electroluminescence lighting system is provided to have a small circumferential nonluminescent part and a narrow edge by mounting a power supply band along one side of a transparent electrode, folding ends of the transparent electrode and a fluorescent layer from a front side to a back side, and mounting the power supply band at the back side so that it is extended along the extending direction of a folding line. CONSTITUTION: The light from a fluorescent layer(3) penetrates through a transparent electrode(2), and a surface at the transparent electrode(2) side totally generates the light. As the transparent electrode(2) has a comparatively high resistance, the loss of voltage increases and brightness decreases at the part farther separated from a center of contact point, when the transparent electrode(2) is connected to an input terminal(4) on a pin point similarly as a back electrode(1). To reduce the unevenness of the brightness, a power supply band(5) formed by coating the silver paste into the band shape, is placed along a side of the transparent electrode(2), and the input terminal(4) is connected to the power supply band(5). As the input terminal can be contacted with the transparent electrode(2) with a wider area by the power supply band(5), the evenness of brightness can be improved. A part of the power supply band(5) is folded to a back surface(back electrode(1) side), and the whole is sealed by a package film(6) to from a sealing part(7).
