PURPOSE: A product monitoring method and system is provided to enable a consumer to purchase a product on an installment basis, a seller to pay the installment money for a set period and make a duty contract with the consumer to correspond to a product assessment or a research survey. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a consumer purchasing a product on an installment basis via a hire purchase finance house, a seller paying the installment money for a corresponding installment period, and the consumer responding to a product assessment or a research survey for the contracted period. The seller can offer an installment money according to the response number of the product assessment or research survey.
