PURPOSE: The computer matrix switcher is provided to allow monitoring of an area without storing a location and ID of a camera using a function of a computer. CONSTITUTION: A computer matrix switcher(10) processes camera image signals (CA1-CAn). The processed image signals are inputted to a video input terminal of a computer(26). The matrix switcher(10) performs a task under a control program(28) built in the computer(26). The control program(28) of the computer(26) generates camera control data for driving and controlling the camera.
