METHOD FOR ANALYSING CENTRIFUGAL IMPELLER PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A centrifugal impeller performance analyzing method is provided to simplify the performance analysis of a centrifugal impeller and obtain precise computation results by not averaging the hole flows of the centrifugal impeller but measuring a flow at an outlet of the impeller by averaging flows of divided jet and wake areas of the outlet. CONSTITUTION: In a centrifugal impeller performance analyzing method, a flow of an outlet area of a centrifugal impeller is divided into two parts of jet area flow and a wake flow, and respective flows of the jet area and the wake area are obtained respectively considering the slippage coefficient and the wake mass ratio change, so that the flow at the outlet is obtained by computing an average of the respective flows.
