PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS 2112 AS ANTAGONISTIC STRAIN AND BIOLOGICAL CONTROL METHOD USING SAME

PURPOSE: Pseudomonas fluorescens 2112 as an antagonistic strain isolated from soil of cultivated land in which the crop is lowerly damaged both by disease and harmful insects and identified and a biological control method using the same are provided, which have an excellent effect on suppressing the growth of plant pathogenic bacteria and substantially maintaining its activity in soil. CONSTITUTION: The Pseudomonas fluorescens 2112 isolated from soil of cultivated land produces antifungal antibiotics and siderophore to inhibit RNA synthesis and protein synthesis of plant pathogenic fungus and suppresses the growth of plant pathogenic bacteria, in particular maintains its activity in soil as well as plant pathogenic fungus suppressing activity at acidic pH and high temperature.
