PURPOSE: A preparation method of oil absorbent rock wool plate for oil fence and an oil absorbent rock wool plate thereby are provided, which has low moisture absorption property and high oil adsorption property. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of oil absorbent rock wool plate for oil fence comprises the following steps: (i) melting rock wool component like a basalt, an andesite, a tubular spar, a dolomite, iron slag at coke furnace of 1500°C and injecting a high pressure air while flowing to spinner rotating in a high speed for fibrosis; (ii) coating the rock wool fiber by injecting a thermosetting resin fiber bonding material, mineral oil emulsion, lipophilic surfactant and high pressure air simultaneously; (iii) collecting lint by conveying to net conveyer absorbing air from the bottom section; (iv) heating while compressing from upside and downside by conveying to the high pressure press; (v) curing a thermosetting resin fiber bonding material by conveying to dry curing oven; (vi) after cutting in a predetermined size, packing with cladding.
