PURPOSE: An one touch power on/off apparatus for computer and peripheral equipment thereof is provided to reduce power consumption by controlling power on/off operation for computer and its peripheral equipment at one time. CONSTITUTION: A switching mode power supply(SMPS)(1) for rectifying and smoothing the AC power input through a power input port and supplying constant voltage to each component of the computer, comprises first to third input ports for power connection of peripheral equipment; an one touch power on/off control unit(26) for feeding back a portion of the DC power output from the SMPS and which is configured in such a manner that thus-fed back power operates the switching element and the power applied through the SMPS power input port flows through first to third input ports; and an over-current protection unit(27) arranged at the front end of first to third input ports and which senses the over-current from the AC power source so as to protect the peripheral equipment connected to the input port.
