PURPOSE: A refrigeration type dehumidification system and dehumidifier is provided to reduce cost and electric power consumption by cooling the refrigerant through two stages utilizing waste heat of air in a re-heater. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a compressor(1) for compressing a refrigerant into a high temperature high pressure state; a condenser(3) for condensing the refrigerant into liquid state; a filter dryer(4); an expansion unit(5) for expanding the liquid state refrigerant; a chiller(8) for heat exchanging the refrigerant with compressed air; a separator(9) for separating condensate water; and a re-heater(6) for heat exchanging the low temperature compressed air with the high temperature compressed air and re-heating the dehumidified compressed air. The refrigerant condensed by the condenser is introduced into the re-heater, and circulated to the compressor after passing through the filter dryer, expansion unit and the chiller. The high temperature compressed air is introduced into the chiller, dehumidified by the separator and discharged to the re-heater. The refrigerant firstly cooled by the condenser is heat exchanged in the re-heater with the compressed air which is cooled to a low temperature state through the chiller. Thus, the compressed air has a high temperature, and the refrigerant is secondly cooled to have a temperature lower than the temperature obtained by the condensation performed by the condenser.
