RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR COVERING STEEL CORD OF PNEUMATIC TIRE HAVING IMPROVED HEAT AGEING RESISTANT AND FATIGUE RESISTANT PERFORMANCE TIRE STEEL CORD

PURPOSE: A tire rubber composition for covering a steel cord obtained by adding dithioalkane derivatives and sulfur to conventional rubber compositions is provided, which has improved modulus and fatigue resistant performance. CONSTITUTION: This rubber composition is obtained by adding 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of dithioalkane derivatives of formula (1), 2 to 7 parts by weight of sulfur and conventional additives to a rubber composition containing carbon black having a nitrogen absorption surface area of 70 to 100m¬2/g and a DBP(dibutylphthalate) oil absorption of 60 to 100ml/100g based on 100 parts by weight of natural rubber, wherein a ratio of dithioalkane/sulfur is 0.1 to 2. In the formula, n is an integer from 3 to 8.
