PURPOSE: An apparatus for estimating a fine particle ratio of sintered ore and a method for estimating fine particle ratio using the same are provided which can apply data of the fine particle ratio estimated during manufacturing of the sintered ore to the actual operation at once by continuously estimating the fine particle ratio of the sintered ore during the operation. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for estimating a fine particle ratio used in a sintered ore manufacturing facility comprising a sintering machine (3) for manufacturing sintered ore (6), a sintering transfer car (4) transferring the sintered ore, and a cooler (11) comprising an air duct (13) and a blower (14) for cooling the sintered ore, the apparatus for estimating the fine particle ratio of the sintered ore comprises a photo sensor (15) sensing that the sintered ore is being charged into the cooler after sintered ore is free fallen from the sintering transfer car; a pressure sensor (16) installed inside the air duct; an amplifier (17) amplifying a voltage signal output from the pressure sensor; a V/I transformer (18) transforming the voltage signal amplified at the amplifier into a current signal; and a distribution control system (19) receiving the current signal output from the V/I transformer.
