MOTOR OPERATING VALVE CONTROL CIRCUIT OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: A motor operating valve control circuit of a nuclear power plant is provided to determine whether an MOV, one of control equipments and PCS, is exact by separating two fixed points when there is occurred a defect in a PCS system. CONSTITUTION: An MOV(Motor Operating Valve) allows water to be cut off or passed through a pipe. The pipe supplies a cool water inside a nuclear reactor of a nuclear power plant. An open circuit part(110) sends a signal for opening the MOV to a PCS(Plant Control System) of the nuclear power plant. A close circuit part(120) sends a signal for closing the MOV to the PCS. If the first operating voltage is applied, the first flip flop is operated and drives a timer. A time preset by the timer is delayed. The second flip flop is then operated and transmits an open signal to the PCS. If the second operating voltage is applied, the third flip flop is operated and drives a timer. A time preset by the timer is delayed. The fourth flip flop is then operated and transmits a close signal to the PCS.
