PURPOSE: A call processing method for efficiently managing a QoS(Quality of Service) in a mobile communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform a service according to a call establishment request of a service grade higher than an existing call service grade, without securing available resources. CONSTITUTION: A call establishment is requested from the second mobile station(301), a base station decides a service grade of a requested call(304). If the service grade is over a service grade of another call in a state which the base station does not secure available resources, the base station transmits a waiting message to the first mobile station(311). The first mobile station responds to the waiting message and interrupts a data transmission. The base station accepts the requested call establishment(312), and supplies a service to the second mobile station. The base station transmits a re-establishment message to the first mobile station if the base station secures the available resources(315). The first mobile station responds to the re-establishment message and re-attempts the data transmission.
